Fort Myers Traffic School

If you’ve received a ticket in Fort Myers or anywhere in Florida, or if you need to complete a traffic course, the Traffic School is available so you can register for the appropriate Traffic Course Online. No need for a classroom, these courses are available with the ease of simply registering online and completing the course in the comfort of your home on your own time.

Once you’ve completed your traffic school course online, submit your certificate to the county clerk in the county where you received your ticket. Make sure to submit the certificate before the deadline.

Fort Meyers is located to the North of Cape Coral and the cities share a metropolitan area together. The city was establishing in 1886 and sits in Lee County. The winter homes of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, which are main tourism destinations for many tourists visiting the area. Fort Myers has been hit hard with several hurricanes within the past decade. In 2004 the city was hit hard by Hurricane Charley, which was a category 4 hurricane. After Charley, the next year Hurricane Wilma struck the area and caused damages across Fort Myers.

Cape Coral and Fort Meyers are connected by the Cape Coral Bridge and the Midpoint Memorial Bridge. The two cities combined to rank #1 by Forbes.com in 2007 for job growth and #1 in 2006 by Inc. magazine for “Best Performing Cities”. The area is also one of the best places in the United States to launch a small business according to Bizjournals. Fort Meyers is the home to the county government for Lee and its population has grown by 20,000 this decade measuring almost 70,000 at last count. With just 40 square miles of land, Fort Meyers is just a third of the size of its neighbor Cape Coral. Both the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins are located in Fort Meyers for spring training and Florida Gulf Coast College is transitioning its sports teams into Division I athletics in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Three major industry pioneers also lived in Fort Meyers Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone.
